ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ CASS Center to hold workshop

The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Center for Academic and Student Success (CASS) will hold a workshop, "Career Decision...Not a Simple Matter," Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the CASS Center adjacent to Chick-fil-A on the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ campus.

Is your major your choice, your parent's choice, or did someone else influence you? Do you know what you want to do with your life's work?

Choosing your career is not a simple matter. Your health, wealth and happiness will depend largely on the career you choose. In fact, choosing a career is one of the most important decisions a person makes in life.

This workshop will explore ways to help students understand themselves through self-assessment and provide ways for them to gather information about the world of work. Then, they can make an informed decision about their life's work--their career.
