Chautauqua Nexus presents "Brain and Mind and Phantoms"
The next meeting of the Chautauqua Nexus will be on Friday, March 16, 2001 at 4:30 P.M. The meeting will take place on the second floor of the SUB, on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
John Knesel of the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ biology department will present "Brain and Mind and Phantoms." The presentation is about the nature of consciousness and what makes us human. There is a raging debate among experts who argue about whether it's our "hardware" or our "software" that makes us human.
