Tickets available for "Porgy and Bess"

Tickets are still available for the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Performing Arts Series' production of "Porgy and Bess" this Friday at 7 p.m. at the Monroe Civic Center.

"Porgy and Bess" is universally recognized as a landmark in American Theatre. It was conceived as a "folk opera" and this Peter Klein production features a 21-piece orchestra.

Tickets are $25 and may be reserved by calling 342-3600. The tickets may be picked up at ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥'s University Advancement on the sixth floor of University Library, or Friday beginning at 6 p.m. at the Civic Center box office.

Tickets purchased for "Porgy and Bess" will also be good for the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Performing Arts Series' production of "Spalding Gray's Morning, Noon and Night," Friday, March 2 at the Civic Center.
