ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥'s Chautauqua Nexus meets Friday
The Chautauqua Nexus will meet on Friday, March 30, at 4:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Union Building on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus.
Dr. Frank Pezold, a Biology professor at ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥, will present "Fishing in the desert: a glimpse of conservation and life in the Niger River basin of Mali." Pezold will show slides of the region and of fish found there, and will summarize the results of a conservation research workshop he organized in Bamako, Mali, this year. Pezold is the curator of Zoology and of the Museum of Natural History at ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥. The museum has one of the largest fish collections in the United States.
