President Swearingen's statement concerning Sept. 11th Day of Prayer
"In conjunction with President Bush's Declaration of September 14 as a National Day of Prayer, we urge each of you to participate in the remembrance of the victims, their families, and our nation. Several campus ministries are holding services today, and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. As the entire nation mourns, our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the tragedies in New York City and Washington, D.C."
Baptist Collegiate Ministry: 1005 University Ave., prayer time at 12:00 noon
St. Thomas Episcopal: 3706 Bon Aire, prayer service at 12:10
Northeast Campus Ministry: 112 Delano Dr., the chapel will be open all day
ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Catholic Student Center: 911 University Ave., mass at 5:30 p.m.
University Church of Christ at 3605 DeSiard, prayer service at 12:00 noon
