ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ to honor 8 professors at Faculty Honors Banquet
The University of Louisiana at Monroe Alumni Association will honor seven outstanding faculty members for 2002 at the Faculty Honors Dinner on Friday, April 26, 2002, at the Monroe Civic Center Conference Hall. One professor will be honored for lifetime achievement. The following seven will be honored as outstanding professors:
Dr. Michael K. Ramsey, Professor of Clinical Laboratory Science, College of Allied Health and Rehabilitation Professions. Dr. Ron Berry, Entergy Endowed Professor of CIS and Head, Department of Computer Information Systems, College of Business Administration. Dr. Otis K. LoVette, Professor of Instructional Leadership, Department of Instructional Leadership and Counseling, College of Education and Human Performance. Dr. Terry L. Jones, Professor and Graduate Coordinator, History and Government, College of Liberal Arts. Mrs. Linda Reid, Assistant Professor of Nursing, College of Nursing. Dr. W. Greg Leader, Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy Practice and Head, Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences, College of Pharmacy. Dr. Bruce Olberding, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, College of Pure and Applied Sciences.
All faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to join the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Alumni Association in recognizing these outstanding professors. Tickets for the event are $10.00 and are available at the Alumni Relations Office. Special reservations for tables can be made through this office as well.
The Second Annual Student Research Symposium will be held on the 7th Floor of the University Library on Monday, April 22, 2002, and is the featured initial event of Faculty Honors Week, which begins on April 22nd and lasts through April 25th. Other events for the week include The Eighth Annual Faculty Promotion and Tenure Reception on Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at 5:30 p.m. the Anna Gray Noe Alumni Center and a Panel Presentation and Discussion by the 2002 Outstanding Faculty Members on Thursday, April 25, 2002.
