ILINK Arrives At ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Library

At 2:00 p.m. Wed., May 15, representatives from the Louisiana Library Network, Carolyn Coco and Selina Wang, will help unveil the iLink system. The University of Louisiana at Monroe welcomes iLink as the new online catalog system in the University Library. The event will take place in the Library on the first floor lobby.

With iLink, the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Library will face virtually no limitations to what it can provide users from within the walls of the library building itself or anywhere in the world via the Internet. Through iLink, ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Library users will be able to access ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ library holdings, other libraries' holdings, enriched content on holdings- such as tables of contents, reviews, author biographies, summaries, etc.- e-books, e-journals, e-magazines, cataloged web sites, digital collections, local information, and anything, anywhere that's accessible via the Internet

ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ students, faculty, and staff have full borrowing privileges at the University Library. Others may use the library at any time. Borrowing privileges will also be available to ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ alumni who currently pay alumni dues for an additional $10.00 fee. You can also join the Friends of the Library of ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ to have borrowing privileges.
