ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Honors New Members Of Quarter Century Club
Nine outstanding faculty at the University of Louisiana
at Monroe were inducted into the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Quarter Century Club on
Monday, May 6. Together, they are being recognized for 225 years
of service to higher education.
The Quarter Century Club recognizes ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ faculty and professional
staff members who have served the University for 25 years. Approximately
150 ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ employees have become members of the prestigious organization
to date, representing more than 3,700 years devoted to the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥
student body, campus, and community.
Honored for 2002 are Dr. Joyce Choate, Assistant Dean and
Coordinator of Graduate Programs for the College of Education
and Human Development; Dr. Virginia Eddleman, Associate Dean
and Director of Field Experiences for the College of Education
and Human Development; Janis Williams Guyton, Senior Programmer
in the Computing Center; Dr. Robert E. Harrison, Professor of
Marketing; Linda D. Hart, Assistant Professor of English; R.
Keith Joiner, Interim Director of Financial Aid; Dr. Carolyn
C. Minder, Professor of Psychology; Dr. Ernest R. Moser, Professor
of Economics; and Dr. Martha Upshaw, Director of Continuing Education.
