Showcase on Latin America at ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥

The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Louisiana at Monroe is sponsoring a series of talks about Latin America. All events will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Col. William T. Hemphill Airway and Computer Science Building, unless otherwise noted.

Set for tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 15, is a showcase called "Human Turtle Interactions in a Rain Forest Area of Northwestern Ecuador, " presented by Dr. John Carr, Associate Professor of Biology.

Next Tuesday, Oct. 22, Dr. Rob Blaine, Assistant Professor of Music, will present "Music of the Caribbean from Africa to Louisiana and Back Again".

Monday, October 28, Dr. Clayton Eshleman, Professor of English at Eastern Michigan University, will present "The Poetry of Cesar Vallejo: Peruvian Poet". This presentation will take place in the Conference Room on the 7th floor of the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Library.
