ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Holds "Day Of Rememberance" in Tribute To September 11, 2001
The University of Louisiana at Monroe will hold a "Day of Remembrance" in tribute to the victims and heroes of September 11, 2001. The event will be in Fant-Ewing Coliseum at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 11, 2002 and will last approximately 45 minutes.
The public is invited to attend as well as all ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ faculty, staff, and students. City officials from West Monroe and Monroe, legislators, law enforcement, fire, and rescue workers will be in attendance as will other first-responder agencies from our community. The American Legion of Monroe will be on hand to display their vast collection of American flags. There will be a short program including performances by the University Choir and a few brief remarks by the President of ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ and others.
