Upcoming ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Alumni Events Scheduled

The University of Louisiana at Monroe is hosting a series of Alumni Chapter Events. All events are open to everyone. The schedule for the spring follows:

The first one is set for April 27. The Dallas crawfish boil begins at 2 p.m. at Lloyd Park at Joe Pool Lake Pavilion "I". The cost is $10.00 per person. There will be family fun, boating, volleyball, and swimming.

The next event is on May 3 in Jackson, MS. This crawfish boil will be held at the Ag. Center in the Masonic Lodge, located at 1150 Lakeland Drive. Social hour is at 4 p.m.; crawfish is at 5 p.m. The cost is $10.00 per person. Kids under 12 are $5.00 per person.

On May 10 an event is scheduled for Shreveport. This crawfish boil (Longview and Webster Parish alumni are also being invited) will be held at the state fairground baseball complex. Social time will be at 3:30 p.m., crawfish will be served at 5 p.m., and the baseball game starts at 7:05 p.m. The cost is $15.00 per person, which includes the price of a baseball ticket. For crawfish only, the price is $12.00 per person. On May 31, a crawfish boil will be held in Baton Rouge and on August 22nd Central Louisiana will hold an event. There will be more information on these at a later date.

All ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ alumni are also invited to El Dorado on April 15th where ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ will hold "An Evening with ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥" for prospective students. President Cofer, university administrators, and faculty will be discussing financial aid, new scholarship opportunities, programs of study, and career opportunities. It will be at the Best Western Kings Inn on 1920 Junction City Road from 7- 8:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
