2nd Annual Community SpearIt Challenge

The 2nd Annual "Community SpearIt Challenge" at the University of Louisiana at Monroe is in full swing. This is an opportunity for area businesses to show their support for the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Indians.

To participate in the "Community SpearIt Challenge," businesses decorate the outside of their buildings with ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ spirit items to show their excitement for ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥. Ways to decorate include using balloons, flags, banners, changing your track board to a spirit slogan, painting your windows, etc.

The time to participate is Saturdays during home games. If you or your business plans to participate, call Coby Wells at 342-5443.

The winner will receive a traveling plaque with the business's name that can be proudly displayed in their business for a year. The winner will also receive 4 season tickets for the 2005 season and an autographed football signed by the 2004 team and coaching staff. The winners will be announced and presented their awards at the last home game on November 20.
