ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Power Lifting Team Goes to Nationals

The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Power Lifting team is heading to Baton Rouge to compete at nationals this weekend, April 16-17.

Last year, the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ women's power lifting team placed 3rd in the nation out of ten competing universities. The men's team, with only three lifters, placed 9th out of 15 competing universities. Power lifting coach Paula Ramirez placed 2nd in individual competition. Ramirez and other team members were named All Americans and were placed as alternates for team USA's World Team Competition in South Africa last September.
