ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ To Host FBLA Leadership Conference


Eight - hundred students from across the region are expected to attend the 30th Annual High School District 11 Future Business Leaders of America Leadership Conference on Wednesday, February 16, on the campus of ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥.

Hosted by the College of Business Administration at ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥, a full day of activities will begin at 7 a.m. in Fant-Ewing Coliseum. Faculty and staff from ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ as well as the local business community, will judge participants on their knowledge of public speaking, accounting, technology and entrepreneurship. The day will conclude with an awards ceremony that afternoon.

Future Business Leaders of America is a vocational organization composed of high school students pursuing a curriculum in Business Education. The Louisiana Chapter of this organization is an integral part of the Business Education Section of the State Department of Education.
