Upcoming College of Pharmacy Golf Classic Offers Mix of Food, Fundraising and Fellowship
On Friday, April 28, at the Frenchman’s Bend Golf Course, all are invited to enjoy a round of golf and some of Louisiana’s finest cuisine at the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ College of Pharmacy Golf Classic. The four-person scramble begins at 1 p.m.
Afterwards, ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ pharmacy student, Kayla Smith, along with her Cajun band from south Louisiana, will perform at the awards ceremony while the golfers feast on boiled shrimp prepared by the Phi Delta Chi Fraternity at the new College of Pharmacy home, located at 1800 Bienville Dr.
This event will help replenish the College of Pharmacy Emergency Student Loan Fund that was depleted during hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and to help develop the College of Pharmacy Student Resource Center.
Early registration is required. The registration fee is $125 per person.
