Faculty member's reference book to be reissued by Scarecrow Press
The two-volume reference book "Historical Dictionary of the Civil War" by Dr. Terry L. Jones, a ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ history and government professor, has been reissued by Scarecrow Press in a new paperback edition.
The new edition is entitled "A to Z of the Civil War" and contains an overview of the causes and major events of the Civil War, chronology, bibliography, and approximately 1,700 entries covering people, armies, battles and campaigns, terminology, and weapons.
Theodore P. Savas, writing for "Civil War News", claimed: "Unlike many similar efforts, Jones' prose will appeal to users of every level, from beginning students of the war to experienced researchers and scholars."
