New Mardi Gras King and Queen to Reign Over the Fourth Annual Mardi Gras Ball
The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Fourth Annual Mardi Gras Ball on Feb. 23 will be led by King Matthew Sewell and Queen Kathryn Dowd, along with the Student Government Association Senate Krewe.
Sewell and Dowd are pharmacy seniors, former SGA presidents and are representing the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ student body.
The Mardi Gras beads that will be present at the ball are keepsake ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ 75th anniversary medallions.
Thursday's Mardi Gras Ball will take place from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. at the Atrium Ballroom, located at 2001 Louisville Ave. in Monroe. The event is sponsored by the SGA. Attire for the ball will be semi-formal to black-tie. All guests must be 18 and older. For more information, please call 342-3485.
