SGA extends Warhawk poll until July 19
Student Government Association President Rob Carroll announced polling for the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Warhawk’s name will extend until Wednesday, July 19 due to the overwhelming interest of the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ family.
As of Thursday, July 13, SGA has received 257 e-mails suggesting names for the Warhawk. Polling began July 6 and was previously scheduled to end July 14.
Every facet of the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ family-students, faculty, alumni and community members-has submitted suggestions, Carroll said.
“This has been an exciting change. I think everybody has jumped on board; and the more we can do to engage people, the better.â€
SGA asks the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ community to submit name ideas to SGA@ulm.edu by July 19. SGA will vote on the mascot name and announce their decision late next week.
