Seminar to focus on life issues
The ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Philosophy Symposium and the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Catholic Campus Ministry are sponsoring a seminar focusing on "End of Life Issues," Tuesday, July 18 from 6-8:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. The seminar will take place at the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Catholic Center (in Christ the King Chapel at 911 University Ave.).
Below is a list of the presenters and the title of their presentations:
- "The Ethical Landscape of End of Life Issues"

- "Approaching Death's Door: A Catholic Perspective"
Dr. John L. Ostdiek, O.F.M
- "Hospice Care and Pain Management"
Rev. Tim Eich, Chaplain for Hospice Care of Louisiana
- "Preparing for Death: A Practical Perspective"
Rev. Tim Cotita, Health Care Professional
Rev. Jo Ann Cooper, Associate Pastor, First United Methodist Church, will be emceeing the event.
