ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ unveils mascot logo designs June 26
After the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Mascot Committee unanimously voted to approve the final Warhawk logo designs today, ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ staffers set an unveiling date of Monday, June 26 in Brown Gym. Everyone is encouraged to attend the celebration, which will be the first opportunity to purchase Warhawk merchandise.
The mascot committee's decision to approve the logo designs coincided with the majority opinion of the various focus groups, said Kevin Stuart, director of marketing at ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥. The focus groups met with Eric Rickabaugh, of Rickabaugh Graphics, and voiced their opinions about the different prospective logos.
"In the focus groups, which consisted of 80-100 people from across the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ family, the designs adopted today were a runaway favorite," Stuart said.
