Band Department Announces Auditions for the Sound of Today Color Guard
The Band Department at the University of Louisiana Monroe has announced auditions for the Sound of Today Color Guard. The Color Guard comprises the flags and rifles that add color and excitement to all performances of the Sound of Today marching band. Auditions for this group are open to anyone who will be a full-time ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ student during the 2006-2007 academic year.
The auditions will take place on Saturday, March 18 in Brown Gymnasium on the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ campus. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the lobby of Brown Gym with training sessions at 9 a.m. Following a break for lunch and individual practice, the auditions begin at 12:30 p.m. with the results being announced at 1:30 p.m. For more information, contact the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Band Office at 318-342-1594 or at long@ulm.edu.
