Art professor competes with national and international artists
University of Louisiana at Monroe’s Cliff Tresner, associate professor of art, has been accepted into the “34th Annual Toys Designed by Artists Exhibition.”
Tresner is competing with national and international artists in the Jeannette Edris Rockefeller Gallery in the Arkansas Arts Center.
Tresner’s work, “Shepard’s Puzzle,” a mixed media wood construction, was selected for the exhibition by juror Robert Ebendor, world-renowned jeweler and metalsmith. It will be displayed in the Jeannette Edris Rockefeller Gallery of the Arkansas Arts Center from Nov. 22 through Dec. 31.
An opening reception for the artists will be held Thursday, Nov. 30. For more information about the Arkansas Arts Center and the exhibition, call (501) 372-4000. The Arkansas Arts Center, Jeannette Edris Rockefeller Gallery, is located at MacArthur Park, 501 East 9th Street, Little Rock, Ark.
