۽ֱ to host Louisiana Association for Alternative Certification conference
The University of Louisiana at Monroe will host the First Annual Conference of the Louisiana Association for Alternative Certification Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the seventh floor of the ۽ֱ Library.
The conference is titled “No Practitioner Left Behind: Addressing Teacher Quality through Alternative Certification.” University teaching faculty, clinical faculty, district administrators, and practitioner teachers should attend this conference.
The Louisiana Association for Alternative Certification (LAAC) is an organization founded in 2004 by charter members representing Louisiana universities and the Louisiana Department of Education. LAAC provides leadership, networking, innovation, and support for alternative certification in education.
Membership and conference registration after October 12 and at the door is $50. Practitioner teacher/student membership and conference registration is $20.
