ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ recruiting outstanding community members into teaching
The TeachNortheast program at the University of Louisiana at Monroe is accepting applications for aspiring teachers who wish to begin the program in the 2007 summer session. An information session will be held Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. in Strauss Hall, room 148. For more information, contact altcert@ulm.edu or call 318-342-3000.
TeachNortheast recruits outstanding professionals who are interested in teaching special education, elementary education, and secondary education, to participate in the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ the Master’s Alternative Certification Program while they serve as teachers in area high needs schools. The program is looking for recent college graduates and mid-career professionals, from a variety of backgrounds, to bring their experience, knowledge and records of achievement to public schools in northeastern Louisiana.
