ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ SBDC to offer patents, copyright and trademarks workshop Nov. 15

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Small Business Development Center will provide a Patents, Copyrights, and Trademarks workshop Thursday, Nov. 15.

For those needing technical information related to a new product development or wishing to investigate the potential growth of a company as a result of acquiring a new technology, the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ SBDC is helping to provide that information.

The ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ SBDC, as part of its continuing education program, is providing business people and individual inventors an opportunity to discuss their invention or project with a technology development specialist. The specialist, Bob Montgomery, a registered patent agent, has extensive experience in bringing new products to market.

The LSBDC provides quality, no-fee, confidential, one-on-one counseling services to potential and existing business owners; provides no-fee management and technical assistance services by appointment; conducts workshops and seminars to help small business people become better managers and to keep them informed about current events and changing trends in today’s business world; and maintains a resource library which includes statistical data, census figures, SBA publications, and a variety of other information.
