Biology department spring seminar series examines insect outbreaks and intelligent design April 25

The ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Department of Biology has two scheduled educational seminars remaining during the spring 2008 semester, with the next set for Friday, April 25. All seminars will occur at 1 p.m. in the Chemistry and Natural Science Building, room 101.

Derek Johnson of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette will give the April 25th presentation titled "Seeing the forest for the trees: large scale patterns and processes in insect outbreaks."

On Friday, May 2, Barbara Forrest of Southeastern Louisiana University will speak about "What is intelligent design? Why should you care?"
