Spring Fever fun at ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ to occur April 14 - 18

Spring Fever 2008, sponsored by the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Campus Activities Board, is one of the largest gathering of activities and social events for ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ students all year. The event lasts for five days and is packed full of opportunities for students to enjoy day and night.

Events are typically free to all ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ students. Please note that most are for ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ students only - except for the Up ‘Til Dawn Carnival Monday, April 14, the MusicFest Thursday, April 17, and the NPHC Step Show Friday, April 18. The general public is encouraged to attend these events.

Spring Fever Week Schedule is as follows:

Monday, April 14 - T - shirt sales and Inflatable Games from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Bayou Park.

Lunch Social featuring Distance to Empty from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Bayou Park.

Canoe Races from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Bayou DeSiard beside Bayou Park.

Up ‘Til Dawn Carnival from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Grove. There is a charge for the general public: $2 for adults, and $1 for children ages 12 and under. For more information, contact: (318) 342 - 3694.

Drive - In Movie ("National Treasure: Book of Secrets") will start at 9 p.m. in the Grove.

Tuesday, April 15 - T - shirt Sales and Novelty Games from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Student Union Building Ballroom.

Lunch featuring Kyle Craft from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the SUB Ballroom.

Water Ski Show with a Popsicle Pass Out at 5 p.m. at Bayou DeSiard.

Robert Channing Mind Reader starts at 7 p.m. in the SUB Ballroom.

Wednesday, April 16 - T - shirt Sales and Guitar Hero Showdown from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the SUB Ballroom.

Lunch from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the SUB Ballroom.

Crawfish Boil at the Baseball Game featuring Trajikly White from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Baseball Stadium.

Thursday, April 17 - Flight Simulator Demos from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Hemphill Airway and Computer Science Building, rooms 124 and 125.

Pizza Eating Contest (free pizza) from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Bayou Park.

T - shirt Sales from 12 - 5 p.m. in Bayou Park.

VAPA Piece for Paint and Percussion from 12 - 1 p.m. in Bayou Park.

Spring Fever MusicFest from 1 - 9 p.m. in Bayou Park. There is no charge to attend.

Friday, April 18 - T - shirt Sales from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. behind Malone Stadium.

Oozeball, occurring all day behind Malone Stadium.

NPHC Greek Step Show at 7 p.m. in Fant - Ewing Coliseum. The charge for all attendees is $5 for advance tickets, which may be purchased at the Office of Student Life and Leadership in the Student Center (room 245), or $7 at the door. The public is invited.
