Commuter Grab-&-Go Dinner scheduled for Feb. 18
The Commuter Grab-&-Go Dinner will be held in the Student Union Building Commuter Student Lounge Monday, Feb. 18 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. CNT students will have a chance to enjoy free pizza and drinks.
The event, hosted by the Non-Traditional Student Organization, focuses on issues facing non-traditional students on a daily basis, changes needed on campus to benefit the non-trads, and on possible social events.
A non-traditional student is defined as having one or more of the following characteristics: age 25 years or older; married; has children who receive more than half of their support from the student; has legal dependents, other than child or spouse, that live with and receive more than half of their support from the student; or is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.
NTSO is accepting applications for the Spring 2008 semester. Membership is required to attend NTSO meetings. Annual membership fees of $10 are due upon joining.
Non-traditional students are automatically eligible to participate in the National Non-Trad Student Week and qualify for the Non-Trad Student of the Month Award, as well as participate in the Commuter and Non-Traditional Student Affairs events.
Students interested in participating are encouraged to contact the Commuter and Non-Traditional Student Affairs Office by emailing Amy Weems at weems@ulm.edu or by calling: (318) 342-5287. The office is located in the Student Center, room 258. The fax number is (318) 342-3516.
