Beutner selected as Region Eight Post Secondary Teacher of the Year
Dr. Michael Beutner, associate professor of instructional technology at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, has been selected as the Region Eight Post Secondary Teacher of the Year for his efforts to guide, broaden and enhance educational technology practice in schools.
Beutner, also the director of the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Teaching and Learning Resource Center, was granted this honor by the Louisiana Association of Computer Using Educators and will be recognized during the LACUE Conference’s Leadership Luncheon and Business Meeting Thursday, Dec. 4, from 12:30-2 p.m.
This award also makes Beutner a finalist for the state LACUE Post Secondary Teacher of the Year position. The state award winners will be announced as a part of the program during the same leadership luncheon.
