ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Colleges honored at 2008 CenturyTel Accent on Excellence Breakfast
The ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ College of Business Administration, the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ College of Education and Human Development and the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ College of Pharmacy were honored Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the 2008 CenturyTel Accent on Excellence Breakfast at the Monroe Civic Center Conference Hall. Area teachers and schools were also recognized for their achievements in support of education in 2008.
Dr. Ron Berry, dean of the College of Business Administration, expressed his appreciation for the honor. “The College of Business Administration appreciates the Monroe Chamber, CenturyTel and the program sponsors for their support of education in our region and for the recognition of our outstanding faculty and staff and their accomplishments.“
Dr. Sandra Lemoine, dean of the College of Education and Human Development also praised those involved. “It is an honor to accept the CenturyTel Accent on Excellence Award. I am grateful to CenturyTel and other sponsors for recognizing the efforts and dedication of the outstanding faculty and staff in the College of Education and Human Development.â€
College of Pharmacy Dean Lamar Pritchard was grateful to accept the CenturyTel Accent on Excellence Award for the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ COP on behalf of the faculty, staff, students, and alumni. "Our College has achieved many laudable goals through the hard work and diligence of our entire team. I want to sincerely thank CenturyTel and all of the organizations and individuals who came together to sponsor this worthwhile community program.â€
