ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Baseball Team collecting donations for the Food Bank at special fall games

Take me out to the ballpark…and please bring a canned food item while you’re at it!

This fall, for the first time in many years, the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ baseball team will be playing two games against outside competition and not an intra-squad scrimmage as they have typically done in past fall seasons.

The first game in question will occur Sunday, Oct. 5, beginning at 2 p.m. The ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Baseball Team will take on the University of Arkansas-Monticello. The team will then compete against Bossier Parish Community College Sunday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m.

Instead of charging the standard admission price for these two games, the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Baseball Team is asking fans to bring an item for donation to the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana. This can be a food item by way of canned goods, or nonperishable items with original labels in place or cash. A table will be set up at the gates to Warhawk Field to accept all donations.
