CBA hosts economic forum for ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ faculty and staff
In response to the nation’s current economic crisis, the College of Business Administration Finance Program will host an objective, informative economic forum for faculty and staff on Monday, Oct. 6, at 4:30 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.
Presenters include Mike Parker, Professor of Finance and Chair of the finance program; Arturo Rodriguez, Instructor of Finance; Tammy Parker, Professor of Economics; Melissa Melancon, Professer of Finance; and Mr. Louis Ray, a local financial planning expert.
These specialists will provide an overview of the economic crisis; they will address how the nation arrived here, what to expect in the future, and offer general advice for moving forward. The experts will not dispense specific financial advice, but will provide general advice, allowing faculty and staff to make informed decisions as our community faces the current economic storm.
