ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Concert Choir to perform at prestigious choral convention Oct. 17
The ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Concert Choir will sing at the Louisiana American Choral Directors Association Convention Friday, Oct. 17 at noon in Baton Rouge; the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ choir is the only college or university choir chosen to perform at this event.
Concert Choir is ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥â€™s premiere choral ensemble. Directed by Dr. Deborah Chandler, the auditioned choir performs a variety of literature both sacred and secular. In addition to the seasonal concerts given during the academic year, the group sings for and serves as one of the recruiting ensembles for the Division of Music by performing at high schools and colleges in the area.
