Fundraiser set at local pub Feb. 28 to send ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Band to the “Emerald Isleâ€
The ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Band Department and Enoch’s Irish Pub announce a fundraiser for the band’s upcoming trip to Ireland.
A jambalaya dinner cooked by Enoch’s owner, Doyle Jeter, will be available for pick-up or dine-in from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 28. The jambalaya dinners will be $5 a plate with all proceeds going to the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Band. Soft drinks and other beverages will be available for purchase at the pub.
A raffle for various items, including a framed print of downtown Dublin, will also be available for purchase. For more information, contact the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Band Office at 318-342-1594.
The ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Band was invited to participate in the activities surrounding St. Patrick’s Day this year—including the over 1,000-year-old St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Dublin.
The trip will begin March 12, with an afternoon departure from Dallas, and ends with a return to Dallas on March 19.
