Heflin to present Sigma Tau Delta Lecture Nov. 11

Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society at the University of Louisiana Monroe, will sponsor its annual lecture at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11, in the Student Union Building Ballroom E.

This year's lecture features Jack Heflin, professor of English and co-director of creative writing. In his presentation, "From First Drafts to First Rights: How to Publish Your Poems," Heflin will explain the publication process while reading from his own works.

The Sigma Tau Delta Lecture is presented each fall when members invite an English professor to present his/her recent scholarship and writing.
