Pogue wins award for outstanding service
Roslynn Pogue, student employment administrator in the Office of Career Connections at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, was recently honored by the Louisiana Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators as their “Woman of the Year” for her service to ۽ֱ’s students.
Pogue has a history of outstanding service on campus, according to Director of Career Connections Brenda Allen.
In addition to being named “Woman of the Year” by the LASFAA, Pogue was also selected by the ۽ֱ Mortar Board in September as an outstanding staff member and was recognized at the Homecoming game in October.
Pogue is active on campus; she recently won second place in her age group in the University Mile and serves as chapter advisor for Alpha Omicron Pi.
