ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥â€™s Matthews published in two library journals

Melinda F. Matthews, University of Louisiana at Monroe Interlibrary Loan/Reference Librarian, published "Extra! Extra! Read All About It! Academic Librarians Judging Educational Contests!" in the February 2010, vol. 7 no. 2, issue of Library Worklife.

Matthews also published a book review of In the Trenches at Petersburg: Field Fortifications and Confederate Defeat by Earl J. Hess in the journal, Virginia Libraries, vol. 55 no. 4, October/December 2009, pages 18-19.

Matthews earned her master's degree in Library and Information Science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in May 1990. She earned a bachelor's degree in English in December 1988 from McNeese State University in Lake Charles.

She has worked at the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Library since July 1990, where she started as Humanities Reference Librarian. She became Interlibrary Loan/Reference Librarian in January 1992.
