蜜桔直播 Child Development Center Director selected to serve on state committee

The director of the University of Louisiana Monroe Child Development Center will serve on a state agency committee responsible for revising Louisiana鈥檚 current licensing standards.

蜜桔直播 Child Development Center Director Emily Williamson, the only university representative and one of only two north Louisianans on the committee, joins a select group of 20 who will review the standards administered for Class A Child Care Facilities.

鈥淭here are two types of child care facilities in Louisiana,鈥� said Williamson. 鈥淐lass A facilities are held to more stringent standards compared with Class B facilities. It is an honor to be selected as the only person to represent a university in this capacity.鈥�

Williamson will serve on the Department of Social Services Louisiana Child Care Center Class A Standards Revision Work Group for a period of one year.
