ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ communication studies students present forum April 26 on preventing violence to women
University of Louisiana at Monroe Communication Studies 3030 students will host "Don't Be a Statistic: Stopping Violence Against Women" on Thursday, April 26, from 2-3:30 p.m. in Scott Plaza.
Students from this class will provide statistics on rape, domestic violence and murder in the state of Louisiana, as well as survivor's stories.
Members of the community will have an opportunity to share their own stories and/or sign a pledge to stay violence free.
