The ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Office of Admissions will send your transcripts to the Student Success Center where they will evaluate them to transfer as many credits as possible. Use the following resource to make estimates for which credits will transfer from other Louisiana institutions:
Students who are transferring to ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ need to add ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ to their FAFSA for that appropriate year. Our school code is 002020. If you are enrolling for Spring 2024, you would make this correction to the 2023-2024 FAFSA. This can take up to two weeks for ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ to process.
Students will also need to contact their school they are transferring from and make sure they cancel any pending aid that ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ will need to apply for the appropriate term.
If you apply for a term and do not enroll/attend, you will need to submit a new admissions application for the new term.
Students who have earned a transferrable associate's degree (AA, AALT, AS, AGS or ASLT) from an accredited institution are eligible for transfer to ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥. For more information on transferring to ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ with an associate's degree, click here.
