What is Compete LA?听
Compete LA is a program designed to help Louisianians with some college credit complete
their degree. This program includes a variety of degree options offered through the
9 universities that make up the University of Louisiana System.听

Why Should I Consider Compete LA?听
You鈥檝e probably been thinking about this for a while but didn鈥檛 know how to make it
work with your lifestyle. Now, you have a chance to finish your degree, experience
walking across the stage, and drastically improve your career.听 Those who qualify
for Compete LA are potentially eligible for a tuition discount. In addition, students
enrolled in Compete LA programs are assigned a coach who will guide you through the
application and enrollment processes and help you stay successful throughout your
college career.听This leaves you with a better question, 鈥淲hy not?鈥澨�

What are the Requirements?
In order to qualify for Compete LA, students must meet the following criteria:听
- Be a current resident of Louisiana
- Have previously earned college credit but no degree
- Have been out of college for at least two consecutive years
