ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ COP Graduate Research

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Louisiana Monroe is the only publicly supported comprehensive center for pharmaceutical education, research and service.  It is housed in a 132,000-square-foot, three-story building equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms, health service facilities, and research laboratories.

The College of Pharmacy supports its research activities with equipment necessary to meet the needs of modern cutting-edge research.

Equipment such as Confocal Microscope, NMR, MS, IVIS, and PCR are a few representative examples of the education a student may experience.

The main concentrations of Pharmaceutics, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology are supported by our Graduate Faculty with research on:

• Cancer mechanism and pathology

• Neuroscience

• Drug Development

• Drug Delivery and Nanotechnology, among others

The multidisciplinary nature of our research promotes collaborations among our graduate students and yields high-impact publications, in a pleasant and productive working environment.
