Individuals seeking an exemption to the University of Louisiana System’s mandatory on-campus housing requirement must meet any one (1) of the University’s allowable exemptions and perform the prescribed procedures before being considered. Applicants should read and follow all required steps prior to submitting their application to the Office of Auxiliary Enterprises.

The completed application and documentation are due to the Office of Auxiliary Enterprises (Strauss Hall 260) no later than April 1st for the Fall semester, and November 1stÌýfor the Spring semester.

Please note:
> Students who currently live in the Bayou Village or Warhawk Village apartments may not cancel their contract mid-year unless they are graduating or will not be returning to ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ the following semester.
> If your request for housing exemption is granted, you are required to submit a housing cancellation form to the Office of Auxiliary Enterprises.ÌýWeÌýcannot complete your housing exemption approval or cancel your housing application/assignment until our office receives this form.
> Deadlines and additional information regarding housing exemptions are e-mailed to your @warhawks.ulm.edu address.Ìý It is recommended that you check your ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ e-mail address often.
>Ìý Students who feel that they automatically qualify for a housing exemption are still required to submit the housing exemption application by the appropriate deadline or it will not be considered. Ìý
>ÌýThe Housing Appeals committee meets once per month. Housing exemption appeals will be reviewed by the Housing Appeals Committee at the next available meeting. The Housing Appeals Committee decision is final.Ìý
